Building a Modern Brand in a Traditional Industry
Thunderbird Plumbing is an established plumbing company serving Greater Victoria, with a strong reputation built over the past decade. As the business continued to grow, their existing website no longer reflected their brand, service quality, or forward-thinking approach.
The objective was clear: design and develop a fully custom website that would position Thunderbird Plumbing as a modern, trustworthy, and approachable alternative to outdated competitors, while maintaining and strengthening their existing search visibility.

The design strategy focused on Thunderbird Plumbing’s core differentiator – a youthful, energetic, and customer-first approach, moving away from the dated, cluttered feel common in the industry.
Key elements included:

- Prominent use of real team imagery to build trust and authenticity
- Clear messaging aligned with homeowner pain points

The homepage was structured around the “3-second rule,” immediately answering:

- Who they are for
- How to take the next step
Conversion-Focused Structure
This wasn’t a brochure site, it was built to generate leads.
We prioritized Thunderbird’s highest-value services, including:
- Poly-B Replacement
- Drains & Sewers
- 24/7 Emergency Plumbing
Each service was supported with dedicated landing pages designed around high-intent search behaviour and clear calls-to-action.
A prominent “Book an Appointment” CTA was integrated throughout the site and connected directly to Service Titan, streamlining the booking process and reducing friction for users.
SEO Preservation & Growth Strategy
Unlike a typical rebuild, this project required careful handling of existing organic rankings.
Before launch, we conducted a full audit of the previous website structure and implemented a detailed 301 redirect strategy to ensure all high-value pages retained their authority and search positioning.
On-page SEO was also restructured to better align with current search intent, particularly around key revenue-driving services.
This approach allowed Thunderbird Plumbing to transition to a new platform without sacrificing existing visibility, while creating a stronger foundation for future growth.

Post-launch, Thunderbird Plumbing entered a digital marketing program including:
