Creating a High-Conversion Website for a Vancouver Physiotherapy Clinic

Cadence Physiotherapy & Rehab is a Vancouver physiotherapy clinic located at Broadway and Cambie, offering one-to-one care focused on root-cause treatment, whole-body assessment, movement-based rehabilitation, and long-term recovery. Their services include physiotherapy, sports physiotherapy, running assessments, Clinical Pilates, Clinical Yoga, dry needling, hypermobility/EDS care, ICBC-related treatment, and ConnectTherapy™.

The goal of the project was to move Cadence from their previous hosting and website setup to a cleaner, more conversion-focused WordPress website that better reflects their premium one-to-one care model. The project strategy focused on fixing the clinic’s main growth limitation: a lack of search presence caused by having too many services grouped into one page instead of giving key services and conditions their own optimized pages.

Custom Website Design & Development

We designed and developed a semi-custom WordPress website using the Avada theme, with a clean, modern, energetic direction that reflects movement, recovery, and confidence.

The design needed to feel warm and personable without becoming busy or generic. The strategy was to balance strong visuals, rounded design elements, clear above-the-fold messaging, and practical mobile usability.

Key elements included:

Patient-Focused Website Structure

The website was structured to help patients quickly understand Cadence’s approach, services, conditions treated, and booking options.

The project sitemap included dedicated sections for Home, About, Services, Conditions, New Patients, Blog, Contact, and Footer content. Services were planned as individual SEO-focused pages rather than being grouped together on one general services page.

This structure gives patients a clearer path whether they are looking for sports injury rehabilitation, running assessment support, chronic pain treatment, Clinical Pilates, dry needling, hypermobility care, or general physiotherapy.

Highlighting Cadence’s One-to-One Care Model

A key part of the website was communicating what makes Cadence different from more generic physiotherapy clinics.

The site emphasizes longer one-to-one appointments, detailed assessments, whole-body movement analysis, hands-on treatment, personalized recovery plans, and care that looks beyond isolated symptoms.

The messaging also supports the clinic’s target audiences, including Vancouver healthcare workers, runners, everyday athletes, and people dealing with chronic or recurring pain who may not have found lasting results through a more generic approach.

SEO Foundation

As part of the project, we implemented an SEO structure designed to support local search visibility for physiotherapy-related searches in Vancouver.

The SEO strategy focused on correcting the original single-page service issue by creating targeted service and condition pages. Target keyword themes included physiotherapy Vancouver, pain relief physiotherapy, chronic pain treatment, root-cause physiotherapy, sports injury rehab, and running assessment physiotherapy. The geo-targeting strategy included Fairview, Mount Pleasant, Olympic Village, Cambie Village, and Yaletown.
