Position: Search Engine Optimization Specialist
Our fast paced and growing seo department has a new position available. This person will be required to implement organic seo strategies, perform specific tasks, and report to the Senior SEO Manager. You can be part of a great team working with new and existing clients in various industries.
Job Requirements:
- Excellent computer and Internet skills
- Understanding of the latest search engine technology
- Proof and samples of past achievements. (At least 10 top placements in search engines.)
- Must be self directed and detail oriented
Duties Include:
- Determining appropriate search engine promotion tactics
- Keeping up to date with all changing algorithms within search engines
- Defining target audiences
- Identifying competition
- Researching and developing competitive keywords and phrases
- Creating titles, descriptions, and meta tags
- Manual site submissions and positioning
- Directory submissions and positioning
- Achieving robot friendliness
- Link building
- Setting up blogger accounts, posts and maintenance
- Reviewing statistical data and adjusting based on visitors and page views
- Producing regular search engine marketing progress reports and updates
