Webacom Media Corp. Announces Launch of Jysk Canada Website

Jysk WebsiteJysk Canada has a brand new site with a brand new look and feel, and the Jysk brand has never looked better.  With the launch of the new corporate site expect an improved user experience and simplified product browsing, as well as the addition of an online store where you can purchase Jysk products and have them delivered to your door.

It all started with three meetings where Webacom’s experienced web design and development professionals devised a strategy for deployment of the new Jysk interface.

The Webacom team first consulted Jysk on a marketing approach for the new site.  How would the information be presented? How would the products be displayed?  What strategies would be employed to create the ultimate user experience in the Jysk online environment?

Project planning was next.  Webacom’s team of award winning designers and marketing professionals created a brilliant and enticing interface that promised to bring users a memorable online shopping experience.

Navigation to all areas of the site improved immensely, with bright buttons and a simple navigation interface designed to bring visitors directly to the products they were seeking without missing an online beat.  The new Jysk shopping cart makes shopping online a pleasure with easy navigation and product viewing along with a streamlined checkout and payment process that rivals the most efficient eCommerce solutions.

New category templates made products easy to find and aesthetically appealing to visitors.  The improved interface makes the addition of new products easy for Jysk staff, and the exciting colours of Jysk’s bedding, bath and home decor lines made perfect images to invite further browsing through the line of Jysk products.

Once the planning was complete, the Webacom design team put those plans into action.  Each step of the design process, from conceptualization to navigation, was carefully implemented and checked to ensure that Jysk management and their site’s visitors would be completely satisfied with every aspect of the online experience.

An exciting feature that Webacom introduced on the Jysk site was the addition of a dynamic FAQ application.  As well as a standard page for frequently asked questions, users will be able to get instant answers to any range of questions about Jysks products or services by simply hovering over the FAQ icon next to Jysk products.

The specialists on the search engine optimization team at Webacom created a strategy of organizing and optimizing Jysk’s product and regional pages to ensure that customers find the right products and pages right away while they’re searching in Google, MSN, Yahoo, Ask or anywhere on the world wide web.

And the work is far from complete.  Visitors can look forward to some exciting flash based applications for the Jysk catalogue and flyer.  Jysk is also working with Webacom to develop more tools to improve user satisfaction and the online Jysk experience through introduction of a newsletter as well as continued consulting in marketing and search engine optimization.
